هذا الموقع يتناول تاريخ العلوم عند العرب منذ بدء النهضة العلمية في أواخر القرن الثاني للهجرة حتى أواخر القرن الثامن للهجرة، وقد توقف الموقع عند الشخصيات المشهورة عبر العصور، وهي شخصيات قام على جهودها الصرح العلمي الشامخ، هذا الصرح الذي أضاءت أنواره العتمة التي كانت تغطي الأذهان في حقول الطب والصيدلية والكيمياء والفيزياء والحيل والموسيقى والرياضيات والفلك والاجتماع، وغير ذلك مما كان لعلماء العرب فيه دور الريادة.
